Hello everyone and welcome to the latest installment of the McCartney Multimedia, Inc. Newsletter!

It's been a busy few months since our last communication, and now it's time again to take stock and tell you about all the projects and events we've been involved with.
(Pictured on the right is our latest show "Behind The Beatles" which premiered as a benefit at Beit T'Shuvah, October 21st.) Needless to say, it was a great success and the audience had an amazing time! Between live music by the band, the stories of Ruth and Angie and the in-depth video production, "Behind The Beatles" had a great and more importantly, SOLD OUT reception!

Weight Watchers of Philadelphia

McCartney's WordPress and Java Script experts worked with The Agency Ltd, MKS and our client WWPHL to consult, code and connect this deep and content-rich site designed by Rena Jones of The Agency, on the client's servers. This 18-month labour of love involved hooking up to legacy scripting, membership databases, offsite meeting location login systems and making this entire project mobile compatible.

From 2 meetings and 8 members over 53 years ago, this thriving franchise today has members attending over 550 meetings in over 130 locations throughout 11 counties - 8 in PA and 3 in NJ. Co-Founder Marilyn Birnhak continues to be a very active president.
• Mrs. Birnhak holds the distinction of being the owner of the longest running and continuously owned and operated franchise of Weight Watchers International.
• Marilyn is the only person within Weight Watchers International who worked directly with and learned directly from Jean Nidetch, founder of the company.
• Marilyn has worked with Weight Watchers longer than any person in the world.

Kelly Walker Law

We developed a new cross-platform compatible site with a content management system so that the client can make updates in-office, for our attorneys Kelly & Walker of Denver, CO.

Kelly & Walker has clients, not files. They provide first tier legal analysis and strategy. Their lawyers have handled cases in state and federal courts in 33 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. They have taken trials to verdict in multiple jurisdictions. Their team comes from some of the largest law firms in the country, where they've handled complex litigation as national counsel, regional counsel and multi-district or lead class counsel. They continue to serve in those capacities for current Fortune 500 clients, in an environment that provides personal client service throughout the entire firm.

Huntington Harbour Marina

We designed and built a temporary site for the newly acquired Huntington Harbour Marina, which is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation.
onstruction began in 1963 at a cost of $200 million. The harbours and peninsulas are located on the former site of the historic Sunset Bay Estuary wetlands. Huntington Harbour is bracketed to the south by the 1,200-acre Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, and to the north by the 5,256-acre Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach.
Huntington Harbour Marina features 171 slips up to 75' in length. There's also a dock for up to a 65' vessel, and being just 12 miles from Disneyland, 8 miles from Knott's Berry Farm and just a short hop from some iconic southern California beaches and towns, featuring dining for all tastes and budgets, shopping, movie theaters and other exciting entertainment attractions, HH Marina is the ideal site to spend time on your boat!

McCartney Messenger

1.2 Billion Users Daily
Messaging apps have surpassed social networks. There are over 1.2 billion (yes, billion) users on Facebook Messenger. Business Insider reported "users around the world are logging in to messenger apps to not only chat with friends but also connect with brands."

Off-The-Chart Open Rates
Whilst email open rates hover around 20%, messenger read rates are over 80%, and users are reading messages within an average of 2 minutes. That means it would take an email list of 20K to get the same result - in terms of open rates - as a messenger subscriber list of 5K. Click through rates are 70% for Facebook Messenger!

Events & Music

Nick Marechal

If you're active on social media, you may have heard about upcoming artist Nick Marechal by now. Nick's music is in the style of the American Songbook category of Rock, Blues and Jazz.

During our latest session visits with Nick both at Capitol Records and East West Studios in Hollywood, we've been broadcasting live on Facebook to thousands of you new fans if this talented chap. The broadcasts featured Nick (Vocals & Guitars) and his band: Quinn Johnson (Piano), John Ferraro (Drums), Andrew Ford (Bass), Greg Mathieson (Hammond B3), produced by Niko Bolas and David Martinez.

We also showed how "the sausage get's made", behind the scenes of live music recording and even a "Horn & Brass Section." You can't get closer to great music than that!

We're in the process of producing Nick Narechal's fist music video "Charming Distraction", so stay tuned for that!

A Documentary Series About Remarkable Women - hosted by Angie & Ruth McCartney

Series Overview

This project looks into inspiring stories and achievements of women from all walks of life, (both famous and unknown), spanning all age groups, and examines what took so long to get from the swinging 60s - which started with Ozzie & Harriet and ended with Sonny & Cher, and took us from Doris Day to Janis Joplin to the Women's marches of today, with their pink pussycat hats, their raised voices and their aspirations for equal pay and an equal say.

Fame is not a pre-requisite. A good story is.

Behind The Beatles

On October 21st, our brand new show "Behind The Beatles", saw its' premiere as a benefit concert at Beit T'Shuvah in front of a sold-out crowd. The evening's entertainment was comprised of live music by Glenn Goss and the band, memories of Ruth and Angie from the days being around The Beatles, and a multimedia video show with never before seen interviews, conducted by Ruth, of eye witness accounts to Beatles history such as: Cynthia Lennon, Apple's "Mr. Fixit" Alistair Taylor, Billy Preston, Beatles' Chauffeur Alf Bicknell and Billy Hatton of The Fourmost.

Our special thanks and love go out to: Rabbi Borovitz, Cheryl Wolf, Glenn Goss, Laura Bagish, Carlos Calvo, Michael Caruso, Corwin Castellaw, Luca Gache, Alex Giaime, Jason Goldberg and Jonathan Pontiff for being such great hosts and musicians!
